ATTENTION PARENTS AND STUDENTS....
Thank you to all the parents and students who donated to our classroom store! It was a big hit and the students really enjoyed this experience. My favorite part of shopping day was offering an extra recess to the class for $300.00 (classroom play money of course.) The students could all donate to a specific container to buy an "extra recess." And, they succeeded! They all chipped in by showing the lifeskills of caring, perserverance, initiative and cooperation. I am very proud of them. Congratulations!
Attention PARENTS!
Now there's a new and fun way to have your child enjoy reading. It's called RAZ KIDS! RAZ Kids is an online reading program which allows you and your child to track their individual progress when reading. Each child has their individual username and password stapled inside their homework folder. To be more specific, its stapled behind the first page in their homework folder.
This month's assignment is to read 2 books from their selected level and take a quiz on each book. They can read their book selection at anytime and any number of times. Their assignment is due by April 30th. So, check it out, as I can check in online to see how they're doing as well.
